Transport Planner focuses on subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the uk.
What the role involves
- Subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
- Planning daily workload for a fleet: vehicles based on and off site.
- Dealing with queries and issues by telephone, fax and email from our customers, sub-contract hauliers and warehousing sites.
- Liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times.
- Supporting the fleet and driver training team as and when required.
- Complete pre and post de-brief for all driver shifts.
Skills and requirements
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of transport planning expertise in a busy and demanding environment.
- Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business.
- Annual Leave – 20 days inclusive of the bank holidays.

- We are currently seeking a Transport Planner to join our Transport team at our Oldham site on a Full Time permanent basis!
- As a Transport Planner you will oversee the day to day planning of the transport operation.
- Provide cost effective solutions to the customer.
