Transport Planner focuses on subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the uk.

What the role involves

  • Subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
  • Planning daily workload for a fleet: vehicles based on and off site.
  • Dealing with queries and issues by telephone, fax and email from our customers, sub-contract hauliers and warehousing sites.
  • Liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times.
  • Supporting the fleet and driver training team as and when required.
  • Complete pre and post de-brief for all driver shifts.

Skills and requirements

  • Be able to demonstrate a high level of transport planning expertise in a busy and demanding environment.
  • Be able to communicate well at all levels within the business.
  • Annual Leave – 20 days inclusive of the bank holidays.
