The Unqualified Teacher position centres on supervise classes across all key stages (KS3 and KS4) in the absence of subject teachers. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Supervise classes across all key stages (KS3 and KS4) in the absence of subject teachers. Maintaining classroom discipline and promote positive behaviour. Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task.

What is expected

  • Take accurate registers and report any concerns to relevant staff.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (including English and Maths).
  • Ability to engage with young people aged 11-16.
