What the role involves

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to prepare materials for production.
• Operate various fabrication machinery, including cutting, drilling, and assembly tools.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage and waste.
• Monitoring production processes to guarantee adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any manufacturing issues that arise during the production process.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience in manufacturing or fabrication, ideally within the plastics or aluminium industry.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to operate fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies in the manufacturing field.

Confirmed role details

• Monday-Friday 40 hours per week.
