US Tax Senior - London (United Kingdom)

Our client, a leading UK accountancy, tax and advisory firm, operating across more than 100 countries, is currently seeking a US Tax Senior to join their growing team in London.

With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, partner-led advice, they support a diverse client base ranging from owner-managed businesses to large international groups. Their collaborative, people-first culture and multidisciplinary approach enables them to provide tailored solutions across audit, tax and advisory.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing a portfolio of US clients, with involvement across all aspects of tax compliance and broader client relationship management
• Preparing and reviewing US tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to US tax regulations
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing proactive and commercially focused tax advice in a timely and professional manner
• Supporting Managers and Directors in delivering market-leading advice to US-connected clients in the UK
• Managing your workload effectively to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality outputs
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their development
• Collaborating closely with the wider tax team to deliver a seamless and high-quality client service

What We're Looking For:

• US Enrolled Agent (EA) qualification preferred, but not essential
• 2 - 3 years of experience in US tax compliance and/or advisory, ideally with exposure to owner-managed businesses, personal tax, partnerships and/or corporate tax (experience across all areas is not required)
• Strong technical knowledge of US tax laws, regulations and compliance requirements
• Exposure to UK tax is advantageous, but not essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and deliver practical solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels
