Utility Surveyor
Utility Surveyor focuses on complete a range of utility and cctv surveys, of various scale and complexity, independently to a high standard.
What the role involves
- Complete a range of utility and CCTV surveys, of various scale and complexity, independently to a high standard.
- Provide guidance and direction, to team members on large and complex survey projects.
- Work effectively on projects with trainee, junior and survey technician level staff, assisting with their development by providing practical experience Onsite and office work.
- Maintaining the instrumentation to a high working standard and ensuring its fit for purpose.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience working in the utilities surveying industry (2-3+ years).
- Previous experience independently completing small to large scale utilities and CCTV surveys, of various complexities.
- Experience and knowledge of traversing and GPS control networks.
- Experience and knowledge of using GPS and Total Station equipment.
Confirmed role details
- Also share your expertise and knowledge with less experienced team members to assist their development, by providing practical experience Onsite and office-based work.
- This is a full-time role with office hours of Monday to Friday from 9.00 – 5.30, however site hours will vary so overtime and occasional weekend working will be required.
- 24 days leave plus bank holidays, increasing for years of service up to 30 days.
- Company sick pay.
