What the role involves
- Someone who doesn't just build components, but treats our design system as a living product.
- Design System & Tokens Management: Maintain and evolve the design system library by defining components, documentation, and guidelines to ensure efficient adoption.
- Ops & Workflow Optimization: Work closely with the broader team to optimise design tools, standardise templates, and streamline the delivery pipeline between UX and Engineering.
- Test, and implement AI-driven tools and workflows across the design process to help our team move faster.
- Engineering Collaboration: Partner with developers to ensure design system tokens and components align smoothly with code repositories (like Storybook).
- Clean-up processes to eliminate inconsistencies across the enterprise platform or to introduce new functionalities in a scalable way.
