What the role involves
- We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Compound Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a large, fast-paced automotive compound operation.
- Overseeing all compound operations, ensuring vehicles are managed efficiently from arrival through to dispatch.
- Develop operational teams across multiple functions.
- Ensure all operational processes meet customer, manufacturer, and internal standards.
- Driving performance against KPIs including turnaround times, utilisation, and service levels.
- Managing health & safety compliance across the site.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience managing large vehicle compounds is essential.
- Experience overseeing high-volume stock levels – this role is not suited to candidates from small compounds handling only a few hundred vehicles.
