What the role involves

• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full scope of repair requirements.
• Produce accurate repair estimates using Audatex (certification essential).
• Liaise with customers, insurers, engineers, and internal teams to agree repair methods and costs.
• Identify safe, compliant, and cost‑effective repair solutions.
• Maintaining accurate job files, documentation, and system records.
• Supporting workflow planning by advising on repair times, parts, and potential delays.

Skills and requirements

• Strong knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and materials.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Confident communicator able to explain technical information clearly.
• Competent IT skills, including estimating software and bodyshop management systems.

Additional role context

• 42 hours per week.
• As a VDA, you will play a vital role in assessing vehicle damage, producing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring work progresses smoothly through the bodyshop.
• A key role within a growing and reputable repair operation.
