Vehicle Technician (L2 Qualified)

Vehicle Technician focuses on assisting in identifying and reporting vehicle faults, escalating complex issues to senior technicians or supervisors.

What the role involves

• Assisting in identifying and reporting vehicle faults, escalating complex issues to senior technicians or supervisors.
• Carry out routine servicing and basic maintenance on a range of vehicles and light commercial units.
• Supporting in removing and refitting minor components under supervision.
• Use technical manuals and guidance to assist in basic diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare parts and equipment as directed by senior staff.
• Carry out simple electrical system checks and minor repairs, with appropriate support.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Position: PDI Technician (L2 Qualified).
• 37.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday. 2x Shift rotation 6am-2pm.
• £19.65 per hour. Overtime and Unsociable hours at an Increased rate.
