Vehicle Technician focuses on performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services to dvsa standards.

What the role involves

• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services to DVSA standards.
• Keen awareness of health and safety, working safely and maintaining risk assessments with teams.
• Ability to perform well independently and with teams to help diagnose.
• Plan repairs for the vehicles.
• Providing repair services and breakdown cover to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.

Skills and requirements

• Full driving license, LGV licence not essential but would be an advantage.
• NVQ III or City and Guilds Motor vehicle repair or manufacturer equivalent.

Confirmed role details

• A salary between £35,000 and £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) over time is available at a rate of time and a half.
• Our Colas Pension Scheme has combined contributions of up to 10%.
• Life Assurance Scheme which is x4 basic salary.
• 21 days annual leave per year + Public Holidays.
