Vehicle Technician
Vehicle Technician focuses on performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services to dvsa standards.
What the role involves
- Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services to DVSA standards.
- Keen awareness of health and safety, working safely and maintaining risk assessments with teams.
- Ability to perform well independently and with teams to help diagnose.
- Plan repairs for the vehicles.
- Providing repair services and breakdown cover to clients on the road in case of emergencies.
- Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.
Skills and requirements
- Full driving license, LGV licence not essential but would be an advantage.
- NVQ III or City and Guilds Motor vehicle repair or manufacturer equivalent.
Confirmed role details
- A salary between £35,000 and £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications) over time is available at a rate of time and a half.
- Our Colas Pension Scheme has combined contributions of up to 10%.
- Life Assurance Scheme which is x4 basic salary.
- 21 days annual leave per year + Public Holidays.
