Vehicle Technician

What the work leans on

You'll be working full-time, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week), based Onsite at MOD Lyneham, approximately 7 miles (11 km) north-east of Chippenham and 10 miles (16 km) south-w. Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (or willingness to achieve this as part of the role).

• Supporting site-by-site logistics operations while learning systems, routines, and working standards.

Technical requirements

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Engineering (e.g., City & Guilds Part 3, Apprenticeship, or military equivalent such as Class 1 REME Vehicle Mechanic).
• Reservists in the armed forces receive 10-days special paid leave.
• Strong workshop experience with diagnostic skills in light vehicles or HGVs.
