- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform complex repairs including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and brake system replacements.
- Carry out comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Repair documentation accurately, ensuring high standards of quality.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols within a busy workshop environment.
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a reputable automotive dealership or workshop.
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance.
- Repair or equivalent qualification.
- MOT qualified would be an advantage but not essential.
Confirmed role details
- Competitive salary starting from £33,614.10 up to £40,376.00 per annum, depending on experience.
- Working hours of 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday morning on a rota.
- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days for long-serving employees.
