Waking Night Support Worker
Job description
The Support Worker position centres on responding appropriately to behaviours that may challenge using Positive Behaviour Support approaches. It would suit someone who can bring ownership, clear communication, and practical organisation to the role.
How the role is set up
Experienced Enhanced Support Workers (Waking Nights) to join a specialist supported living service providing one‑to‑one support for one male with complex support needs. This is a single‑person service, requiring consistent, skilled and values‑led overnight support to ensure safety, wellbeing and emotional stability.
Where someone would start
Responding appropriately to behaviours that may challenge using Positive Behaviour Support approaches. Accurately recording overnight observations and support provided. We’re looking for experienced support workers who can confidently work waking night shifts in a single‑occupancy, complex needs service.
What is expected
- Previous experience supporting adults with complex needs and/or behaviours that challenge.
Job details
- Part Time and Full Time waking night opportunities.
