Waking Nights Support Worker
Support Worker focuses on as a support worker you will support our young people with their night time and morning routines.
What the role involves
- As a Support Worker you will support our young people with their night time and morning routines.
- New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document.
- A nurturing 8 bedroom children’s residential home that prides itself on creating a family environment where our young people feel a genuine sense of love and belonging.
- Our setting is able to meet a wide range of complex needs with care.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant care, clinical, support, registration, DBS, or safeguarding requirements may apply.
Confirmed role details
- Shift times will be 8pm to 8am and alternate weekends.
- Based in our established and friendly home in Cannock, you’ll support children and young people (ages 3 to 18) with learning disabilities to feel safe, valued and inspired.
- Waking night shifts will require daily interaction with our young people, assisting them with activities in and around the service, though less than a day shift would.
Candidate fit
- People we support will have learning disabilities, Autism, epilepsy and can display some associated behaviours.
- Be a naturally supportive person who is able to take satisfaction from seeing our young people develop.
