Warehouse Operative focuses on also involves providing support to all internal customers under the supervision of the warehouse supervisor, to aid the smooth running of the department.

What the role involves

• Also involves providing support to all internal customers under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, to aid the smooth running of the department.
• Maintaining a high level of tidiness in the WH area and WH Yard and remove any hazards or obstructions according to procedure.
• Complete daily requirements, including daily dispatch, incoming goods, finished goods prep, and production picking.
• Ensure daily FLT checks are complete and documented.
• Report any defects to the Supervisor immediately.
• Ensure all other Warehouse checks are completed as per the rota.

Skills and requirements

• Experience with Warehouse Equipment – Reach and counterbalance trucks up to 1600kg, pallet trucks.

Confirmed role details

• Night shift will get an additional £1.50 per hour shift allowance.
• Discretionary bonus.

• accuracy, safe handling, reliability, and confidence working to shift or warehouse processes

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25KG) and work on the feet for extended periods.
