The Nights position in Warehouse Operative centres on packing a variety of our products including meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items (with premium payments of £1.50/hour when working at temperatures as low as -18°C). How the role is set up

As a Lidl Warehouse Operative, you’ll make sure our stores receive the right stock when they need it. Work through your orders independently to help get our 2,000-plus products into the hands of happy customers, taking pride in the fact that without you, our shelves would be empty.

Where someone would start

Packing a variety of our products including meat, fruit, frozen and chilled items (with premium payments of £1.50/hour when working at temperatures as low as -18°C). Be a multitasker, carefully listening to picking instructions through your headset to carry them out swiftly. Make sure your deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure.

Excellent attention to detail when working quickly. Organised and confident keeping warehouse priorities clear during a shift.

What is expected

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant warehouse, stock control, shift leadership, or dispatch experience.

Job details

• £14.45 per hour | Shift Time 13:00 - 20:30 | Full Time and Part Time contracts | 30-35 days holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Pension scheme.
• £1.50 extra per hour for hours worked in the freezer and £3.50 extra per hour for hours worked between 23.00 - 05.00.
• Shift pattern: Nights.
• Additional detail: Pension support may be included.
