Warehouse Operative focuses on to prepare loads in the warehouse or directly onto vehicles ready for the next day delivery.
What the role involves
- To prepare loads in the warehouse or directly onto vehicles ready for the next day delivery.
- To demonstrate good attention to detail when picking products ensuring the correct products are picked and delivery notes are checked and completed in full.
- To ensure all vehicles are loaded in a safe, correct, and acceptable manner ensuring all deliveries arrive in a manner which meets our customers’ expectations.
- To support team leaders and supervisors to assist with resolving production issues as and when required.
- To ensure all the correct manual handling procedures and techniques are followed.
Skills and requirements
- Dispatch, forklift, or goods-in experience may be useful.
- Warehouse, picking, packing, stock.
Candidate fit
- Previous experience of manufacturing uPVC Windows and Doors, composite doors, gables, bi-folds, and patios in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desired.
- A full driving license is preferable but not essential.
- The ability to demonstrate effective time management with a flexible approach to working hours.
