Warehouse Operative

Warehouse Operative focuses on accurately picking items from warehouse stock as per order sheet.

What the role involves

• Accurately picking items from warehouse stock as per order sheet.
• Wrapping orders securely for despatch.
• Operate all equipment, as per training, to meet hygiene, health, and safety expectations.
• Physical tasks include checking cages, high lifts, fork lifts, stocking up, pushing, pulling and lifting 20kg-30kg (linens/toiletries).
• Assuring the proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Security checking of the trollies and reporting any findings as per your training.

Skills and requirements

• Must hold a valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card.
• This role requires you to stand for long periods of time (8 hours).
• UK Settled Status (If applicable).
• These checks include 5-year work and address history, DBS (must have no disqualifying criminal convictions), valid Right to Work.

Confirmed role details

• Weekly Pay (every Friday).

Candidate fit

• Accuracy, safe handling, reliability, and confidence working to shift or warehouse processes.

Additional role context

• 8 hours a day (depending on the requirement - Sometimes can be 12 hours a day).
• Temp to Perm (performance-based).
• Car park is not available ( only public transport for this role).
