Warehouse Operative

This Warehouse Operative opportunity is built around monitoring and adhering to stock rotation of ingredients and packaging and advising the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager of any products nearing their best before date. It would suit someone who can bring a flexible, friendly approach with a team focus and can-do attitude to the role.

How the role is set up

Inform warehouse manager of any damaged products or shortages. Record all pallet receipts on supplier’s delivery notes, and on SAP delivery check sheets.

Where someone would start

Monitoring and adhering to stock rotation of ingredients and packaging and advising the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager of any products nearing their best before date. To maintain a safe and hygienic working environment in the warehouse and yard. Helping to maintain the security of the warehouse, whilst controlling visitors to the department and. Picking Customer orders accurately ensuring pallets are in an acceptable manner.

A flexible, friendly approach with a team focus and can-do attitude. Excellent communication skills, speed and accurate. Organised and confident keeping warehouse priorities clear during a shift.

What is expected

• Flexi/Bendi Truck & Pedestrian Operated Pallet Truck licences are desirable but full training will be given if required.
• Picking orders when required and the loading of finished products onto vehicles.
• Stock taking when required for all materials and general housekeeping duties.

Job details

• Week 5 – Flex Week – Mon – Fri (6-2 / 2-10 / 10-6).
