Warehouse Shift Manager focuses on managing team attendance, performance, productivity and accuracy levels, motivating team members to achieve high levels.

What the role involves

  • Managing team attendance, performance, productivity and accuracy levels, motivating team members to achieve high levels.
  • Coordinating and motivate the warehouse operation to ensure effective operational performance.
  • As part of the senior operations team drive continuous improvement within the warehouse, implementing plans to consistently improve the performance.
  • Responsible for shift manning and labour management to achieve workloads in a time sensitive operation.
  • Overall management and responsibility for achieving operational KPI’s.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of warehouse operational areas including returns, inventory control, co-pack, delivery schedules along with Health & Safety procedures.

Skills and requirements

  • Proven experience of all aspects of people management including probationary, attendance, performance and disciplinary matters.
  • Previous 3PL experience is highly advantageous.
  • Annual Leave – Holiday entitlement of 28 days inclusive of bank holidays.
  • Pension scheme – 5% employee and 3% employer.

Confirmed role details

  • Monday to Friday rotating, 06.00-14.00/14.00-22.00.
