Warehouse Shift Manager

This Warehouse Shift Manager role is focused on take full operational responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse on your shift, you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve challenging targets. It would suit someone who can bring organised and confident keeping warehouse priorities clear during a shift to the role.

How the role is set up

Pay, benefits and more: You’ll be paid a salary of [[SALARY_0]] per annum, depending upon shift worked. You’ll also receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).

Where someone would start

Take full operational responsibility for the day to day running of the warehouse on your shift, you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve challenging targets. Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all, to improve employee engagement. Identify cost saving initiatives and implement corrective actions where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of the warehouse operation.

What is expected

• Previous experience as a Shift Manager in a large, fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Competent user of Warehouse Management Systems, with JDA/Red Prairie experience being an advantage.
• Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation.
