Water Hygiene Plumber focuses on assisting with tank cleaning, chlorination, and chemical dosing as required.

What the role involves

• Assisting with tank cleaning, chlorination, and chemical dosing as required.
• Complete temperature monitoring, water sampling, and inspections for compliance with ACOP L8.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks to proactively address potential breakdowns and extend the lifespan of plumbing equipment.
• Resolve plumbing faults efficiently, including leaks, blockages, and damaged pipes.
• Utilise your expertise to diagnose.
• Conduct replacements, and upgrades of plumbing fixtures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Skills and requirements

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Proven track record as a Maintenance Plumber or similar role within the facilities management sector.
• Experience with Legionella risk assessments and TMV servicing and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials, coupled with strong troubleshooting skills.

Confirmed role details

• Competitive salary up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience).
• Friday (40 hours per week).
• Participation in an ‘out of hours’ on call rota (to be confirmed).
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
