Work based learning practitioner – Catering and Hospitality
Job description
This Catering and Hospitality role with Grade 4 is focused on supporting young children through safe routines, learning activities, and service-by-service care. It would suit someone who can bring warm, reliable, and clear in communication to the role.
Role overview
This includes access to tailored Welsh language training plans as well as incentive payments for bilingual delivery and services. This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order and is classed as regulated activity.

Requirements
- Be qualified at a minimum level 3 or above in Hospitality & Catering.
- Level 2 English/Welsh and Maths qualifications (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above.
- Possess or be willing to work towards a Quality Assurance qualification (Currently 401 TAQA Unit).
Job details
- The Practitioner will also deliver underpinning knowledge sessions to learners either on a 1-1 or workshop basis (recommended maximum group size 8).
- We currently have a vacancy for a Work-based learning Practitioner in Hospitality and Catering.
- The Practitioner will assess against the full range of qualifications in Hospitality & Catering and have experience in dealing with customers and professional cookery.
- Work with a caseload of learners and conduct a Training needs analysis.
