What the role involves

  • We specialise in optimising asset performance, including motors, gear boxes, pumps, machining induction, condition monitoring and fabrication services.
  • Perform conventional machining operations such as turning, milling and drilling using various lathes, CNC machines and conventional machines to manufacture.
  • Repair mechanical assemblies.
  • Record all data necessary to produce and expected service and/or design results including sizes and illustrations.
  • Perform metal spraying techniques as needed.
  • Understand materials and applications as required.

Skills and requirements

  • High school qualifications.
  • Engineering apprentice.
  • On the job training.

Candidate fit

  • Technical judgement, safe working habits, careful diagnostics, and practical problem-solving.
