What the role involves

  • Workshop Technician focuses on as a workshop technician, you will be reporting into the workshop manager and will deal with a variety of tasks in order to maintain schedules set by.
  • Also prepare equipment for shipping to clients, both locally and internationally.
  • Preparing equipment for construction into assemblies as detailed on work orders, drawings and procedures provided.
  • Assemble and function test equipment as per instructions provided.
  • Mark-up equipment for torquing following procedures and drawings provided.
  • Perform pressure testing of completed assemblies following procedures and drawings provided.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Candidate fit

  • Workshop experience (desirable).
  • High Standard of workmanship.
  • Flexibility to work on different duties and tasks.

Additional role context

  • Someone with good mechanical knowledge, a "Can do" attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
