Workshop Technician

This Workshop Technician role is focused on carrying out vehicle inspection examinations in line with VOSA procedure and Company policy. It would suit someone who can bring careful technical judgement and practical problem-solving to the role.

Who the work supports

Engineering work involved

Carry out vehicle inspection examinations in line with VOSA procedure and Company policy. Check that systems and components are safe, secure and working properly. Diagnose faults by isolating systems or components that may have caused or potentially cause a problem.

Technical skills and requirements

• A full clean HGV driving license category C required as a minimum.
• Technical experience on vehicle electrical systems (12+24 volts), hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• IT skills with knowledge of MS office systems.
