Yard Operative/Van Driver
Job description
This Yard Operative/Van Driver role is focused on delivering goods on the Company 3.5 tonne pickup vehicle. It would suit someone who can bring comfortable with warehouse routines to the role.

We are looking for a flexible person for a dual role of Yard Operative and Van Driver, within our busy timber and builder’s merchant branch at Oldham. What you would be doing
Delivering goods on the Company 3.5 tonne pickup vehicle. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a sideloader/forklift truck. For minimising stock losses by checking customer vehicles before they leave the site.
The working style that fits
comfortable with warehouse routines.
What you need
- Availability to work Full Time, Monday to Friday inclusive, plus alternate Saturday mornings (0800-1200).
- Option to buy up to an additional 5 days’ annual leave per annum or sell up to 3 days’ annual leave per annum.
