Year 1 Teacher focuses on teachers are encouraged to deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that inspire pupils and help them build confidence and independence in their learning.
What the role involves
- Teachers are encouraged to deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons that inspire pupils and help them build confidence and independence in their learning.
- As a Year 1 Teacher, you will plan.
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum.
- Monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EAL.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and resilience.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Candidate fit
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Have recent experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1.
- Have strong classroom management and planning skills.
