Skills and requirements

• A Year 2 Teacher with QTS or equivalent, proven KS1 experience and confident phonics practice.
• Availability for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and a full-time start from January 2026 is essential.
• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

• Established Croydon school with a strong community ethos and well-resourced KS1 classrooms to support the Year 2 Teacher.
• Focus on inclusion, high expectations and balanced curriculum provision for the Year 2 Teacher to deliver.
• Deliver systematic phonics, guided reading and sequenced writing units.
• We are seeking a committed and creative Year 2 Teacher to join a busy Croydon primary on a full-time basis from January 2026.
