Year 2 Teacher focuses on delivering lessons in line with the ks1 curriculum.
What the role involves
- Delivering lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Supporting pupils in preparing for end-of-Key Stage assessments.
- Develop phonics, reading comprehension and numeracy skills.
- Create a calm and consistent classroom environment.
- Work with teaching assistants to support learning in class.
- Communicate with parents and carers when needed.
Skills and requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience preferred).
- Ability to plan and adapt lessons for different learning needs.
- Access to planning resources and curriculum support.

- Pay: £140 - £180 Per Day.

- We are looking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher to join a primary school in the NG2 area of Nottingham.
- Be responsible for delivering the Year 2 curriculum, with a particular focus on building confidence in reading, writing and maths ahead of SATs assessments later in the year.
