Year 2 Teacher focuses on delivering, and assess engaging lessons across the year 2 curriculum.

What the role involves

• Delivering, and assess engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.
• Supporting pupils in preparation for KS1 assessments in a calm and structured manner.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Use assessment data to monitor progress.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and a love of learning.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Candidate fit

• We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and nurturing Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Twickenham, starting as soon as possible.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
