What the role involves
- Delivering, and assess engaging lessons across the Year 2 curriculum.
- Supporting pupils in preparation for KS1 assessments in a calm and structured manner.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Use assessment data to monitor progress.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and a love of learning.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Candidate fit
- We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic, and nurturing Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Twickenham, starting as soon as possible.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.
