Teaching Assistant – Year 3
Location: Rochdale (OL11)
Pay: £ – £110 per day
Start: ASAP / Ongoing
The role will involve supporting children with their learning while also helping them manage behaviour, develop independence and settle confidently into Key Stage 2 routines. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who can provide consistency, encouragement and clear expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils within a Year 3 classroom on a daily basis
Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
Assisting pupils with focus, behaviour and emotional regulation
Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and classroom routines
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence
Acting as a calm, supportive and consistent adult presence
The Successful Candidate Will:
Have experience working with KS2 pupils, ideally Year 3
Be confident supporting pupils with behaviour and engagement
Be patient, approachable and able to maintain clear boundaries
Have a good understanding of lower KS2 expectations
Be committed to supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
