  • Develop the skills needed for Upper Key Stage 2, with a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum subjects.
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across the Year 4 curriculum.
  • Monitor pupil progress effectively.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL.
  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom organisation.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Candidate fit

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Lower KS2.
