What the role involves

• Support transition pathways through upper KS2.
• Deliver engaging, well-sequenced Year 4 lessons that deepen conceptual understanding.
• Use assessment effectively to inform learning and run targeted interventions.
• Leading enrichment activities, trips and cross-curricular projects as the Year 4 Teacher.
• Engage with parents, attend meetings and contribute to phase moderation from the January 2026 start onward.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
