We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Year 4 Teacher to join our thriving and forward-thinking Primary School in Brighton. This is a permanent role starting ASAP, offering the opportunity to inspire and support pupils as they grow in independence and confidence during this vital stage of their education.

  • Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join our Lower Key Stage 2 team. As a Year 4 Teacher, you will deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that help pupils deepen their learning across the curriculum. You’ll play a vital role in building children's confidence, independence, and love of learning.

The successful candidate will embrace the responsibilities of a Year 4 Teacher, working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure that every child thrives academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for pupils in Year 4
  • Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Encourage curiosity, creativity, and resilience in all learners
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to meet individual learning needs
  • Contribute to the school’s ethos of excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement
