- Delivering, and assess engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
- Monitoring pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners.
- Maintaining a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues.
- Communicate clearly with parents and carers about pupil progress.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
- This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Candidate fit
- We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Wimbledon, starting as soon as possible.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
