  • Delivering, and assess engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Monitoring pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners.
  • Maintaining a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues.
  • Communicate clearly with parents and carers about pupil progress.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
  • This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Candidate fit

  • We are seeking a confident, enthusiastic, and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Wimbledon, starting as soon as possible.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
