  • As a Year 5 Teacher, you will plan.
  • Prepare pupils for their transition into Year 6.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, Key Stage 2 colleagues, and senior leaders to maintain high standards.
  • Deliver, and assess lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Differentiate learning for all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners.

  • Ensure a consistent, engaging learning experience.
  • Strong communication with parents and carers is also essential to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
