Year 5 Teacher focuses on deliver, and assess lessons across the curriculum, ensuring pupils consolidate prior learning while building key skills in preparation for upper key stage 2.

What the role involves

• Deliver, and assess lessons across the curriculum, ensuring pupils consolidate prior learning while building key skills in preparation for upper Key Stage 2.
• As a Year 5 Teacher, you will plan.
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
• Monitor, and track pupil progress effectively.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EAL.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and high expectations.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

• We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Oxford, starting ASAP.
• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
