What the role involves
- Also collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to ensure all pupils receive consistent and personalised support.
- Deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
- Delivering engaging literacy, numeracy, and foundation subject lessons.
- Preparing pupils effectively for SATs and secondary school transition.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL.
- Maintaining a structured, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Candidate fit
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
