  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
  • Preparing pupils for SATs using effective, engaging teaching strategies.
  • Monitor pupil progress accurately and consistently.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EAL.
  • Promote positive behaviour, high expectations, and a growth mindset.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Candidate fit

  • We are seeking a confident, experienced, and motivated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Dorking, starting ASAP.
  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Have recent experience teaching upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
