• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge Year 6 pupils.
• Preparing pupils effectively for end-of-KS2 assessments while promoting confidence and resilience.
• Use a range of assessment tools to monitor progress and inform next steps in learning.
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Support staff, and parents to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through events and enrichment activities.

Skills and requirements

• This is a wonderful opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with strong knowledge of the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly in preparing pupils for their end-of-key-stage a.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
• Strong understanding of KS2 SATs preparation and assessment requirements.
