About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and inspiring Year 6 Teacher to join the school on a full-time, permanent basis starting in January 2026.

You will be responsible for leading a vibrant and motivated Year 6 class, preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school while ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons tailored to Year 6 learners
• Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents
• Creating a positive, stimulating classroom atmosphere where all pupils thrive
• Collaborating with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
• Maintaining excellent classroom management and promoting school values

This role would suit a passionate, reflective educator with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential.

Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE)
• Proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally with Year 6
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Legal right to work in the UK
