Young People’s Support Worker
The Young People’s Support Worker position centres on providing high-quality, person-centred support to young people within supported accommodation settings. It would suit someone who can bring calm communication, safeguarding awareness, resilience, and respectful support to the role.
Where the work sits
Minimum of 6 months’ experience supporting young people within supported accommodation, homelessness services, residential care, mental health services, or similar support environm. This role involves supporting young people aged 16–25 who may be experiencing homelessness, emotional wellbeing needs, trauma, or additional support needs.
Care and support involved
Provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people within supported accommodation settings. Supporting young people in developing independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, attending appointments, education, and daily routines. Supporting access to education, training, employment opportunities, and community-based services.
