Youth Development Worker focuses on provide one-to-one key worker support for young people in supported accommodation.

What the role involves

• Provide one-to-one key worker support for young people in supported accommodation.
• Review support plans, risk assessments and risk management plans.
• Help young people build life skills.
• Maintain their tenancies.
• Supporting individuals to access relevant services, education, and opportunities.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Skills and requirements

• Understanding of support planning, safeguarding, and mental health awareness.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work flexibly on a rota including evenings and weekends.
• Comfortable with short periods of lone working.

Confirmed role details

• 🕒 Hours: Between 8:00am – 10:00pm on a rolling rota (Monday–Sunday).
• Involves working as part of a supportive team within a residential setting.
