Youth Justice Case Manager
Youth Justice Case Manager focuses on work in partnership with internal and external agencies to support children and young people within the youth justice system.
What the role involves
- Work in partnership with internal and external agencies to support children and young people within the youth justice system.
- Assess the needs, risks, and vulnerabilities of children and their families, developing tailored intervention plans.
- Delivering targeted interventions to prevent offending behavior and reduce the risk of reoffending.
- Managing risk effectively, ensuring the safety of the child, victims, and the wider public.
- Ensure all safeguarding responsibilities are met, promoting the welfare of children and young people at all times.
- Engage positively with children, including those who are hard to reach, building trust and encouraging participation.
Skills and requirements
- Significant experience working with children, young people, or families, particularly within youth justice or safeguarding settings.
- Experience in assessing risk, need, and vulnerability, and developing effective intervention plans.
- Support positive change.
- Experience working collaboratively with multi-agency partners (e.g., social care, education, police, health).

Additional role context
- 36 hours per week.
- Trinity Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 3NJ, United Kingdom.
- The interview will either take place at Magdalen House or online and will consist of one interview which will take approximately 45 minutes.
