What the role involves

  • Inspect, maintain, repair, install, design, or improve technical systems according to the role.
  • Diagnose issues, complete checks, and keep records or handovers accurate.

Skills and requirements

  • HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
  • Experience in Earthworks and/or Structures is essential for this role.
  • Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
  • CSCS card required (Black, Gold, White, White/Yellow, Red Experienced or Red Provisional (6 months)).

Additional role context

  • EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchingto.
  • Coordinate subcontractors in the performance of their works, ensuring they are completed to the contractual requirements.
  • Ensure that the team have all current information and resources required to carry out their duties.
