Electrical Maintenance Technician
Electrical Maintenance Technician focuses on activities include, but are not limited to, assisting with routine functioning of equipment, working with stakeholders and other disciplines to complete repairs and breakdowns.
What the role involves
- Activities include, but are not limited to, assisting with routine functioning of equipment, working with stakeholders and other disciplines to complete repairs and breakdowns.
- Work with external suppliers and where appropriate obtain quotations, and consumables, for plant work/upgrades and refurbishment work and where necessary manage contractor activity.
- Preparing comprehensive design documentation, including specifications.
- Test plans, and reports. Propose and implement changes to processes and systems, cost down initiatives, productivity improvements and quality enhancement advice.
- Support on strategic capex plans.
- Work closely with other technicians, discipline leads and team members to ensure seamless communication and integration of electrical engineering with overall maintenance goals.
Skills and requirements
- Electrical Engineering ( HNC Minimum) or equivalent experience.
- A strong understanding of electrical safety and experience using safety related systems (Permit to Work, Risk Assessments, Management of change).
- Experience of SAP Plant Maintenance, would be advantageous.
- Good collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills.
