Fabricator Welder

Fabricator Welder focuses on carry out mig and tig welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.

What the role involves

• Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.
• Fabricate brackets, frames, supports and containment systems from engineering drawings.
• Assisting with installation, modification and maintenance of mechanical systems.
• Work from technical drawings and specifications to complete fabrication tasks.
• Follow site health and safety procedures including RAMS and permit-to-work systems.
• Inspect completed work to ensure high engineering standards are met.

Skills and requirements

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel fabrication.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and installation work.
• Good health and safety awareness in engineering environments.
