Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technician focuses on delivering planned preventative maintenance (ppm) and reactive plumbing maintenance across the healthcare estate.
What the role involves
- Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing maintenance across the healthcare estate.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a range of plumbing systems and equipment.
- Supporting water hygiene programmes and legionella compliance activities.
- Ensure all maintenance records and compliance documentation are accurately completed.
- Provide excellent customer service while working within occupied healthcare environments.
- Working as part of our Mechanical Services team, you will help maintain critical systems.
Skills and requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in commercial plumbing maintenance and repairs.
- Experience carrying out fault diagnosis and planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Confirmed role details
- 27 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
- Pay: £41,000 per annum.

- Technical judgement, safe working habits, fault finding, and practical repair discipline.
Additional role context
- 37.5 hours per week.
- 8:00am – 4:00pm.
