Maintenance Technician
Job description
As a Maintenance Technician in Research, Innovation and Education, the work centres on delivering proactive, predictive, planned and reactive maintenance. Planning, issuing and closing works using the FM system for the shift team. It would suit someone who can bring to deliver a patient focused maintenance service across the Kings Estate on day shift to 5 days a week to the role.
Who the work supports
A Multi Skilled Maintenance Specialist, (Day Position) with hands on approach to a full range of maintenance tasks across Kings Hospital Estates. Liaises With: Team Leader, Maintenance Staff, Heads of Departments, Ward Managers, Patients and Clinical Technicians, Doctors, Nurses.
How support shows up
Delivering proactive, predictive, planned and reactive maintenance. Planning, issuing and closing works using the FM system for the shift team. Maintaining and repair the trusts properties and equipment in accordance with Health Technical Memoranda and Health Building Notes. Taking accountability for meeting key performance indicators for agreed service delivery times. (Priority 1-4).

To deliver a patient focused maintenance service across the Kings Estate on day shift to 5 days a week. Providing a Patient focussed delivery of all tasks ensuring that Kings provides high quality service delivery. Carry out planned or reactive electrical maintenance with safe, hands-on technical completion.
